At first it sounded like a jet taking to the skies. Then the popping started. It was banging, banging like a machine gun. A burning smell wafted up my nose, like corn cob on a BBQ. Then the popcorn fired, “Fire in the hole!”. The teacher started to hand out the popcorn. I thought it would taste all burnt and disgusting because I was worried it would overhead, but the popcorn actually exquisite.
